The best way to generate traffic and to build your brand is to create high-value content. This doesn’t have to mean that you spend hours creating infographic or video posts if your audience isn’t looking for this type of traffic. The key to creating high-value content is understanding what your audience is looking for and delivering great content that delights them.

By focusing on high-value content, you’ll build a brand that customers trust and want to keep coming back to.

3. Diversify your traffic sources

It’s important to have a diverse flow of traffic to your affiliate sites. Digital marketing is always changing as algorithms change and develop, so a small change to one site could be catastrophic. Google change their algorithms frequently, so it’s vital to make sure that you’re not vulnerable to minor changes. Make sure you’re ranking for multiple different keywords. Ideally, generate traffic through social media or an email list as well as through organic SEO.

Having a diverse traffic flow will make sure your affiliate business is robust. You’ll be able to compensate for any change in algorithms or social traffic.

4. Experiment with new styles

Once you’ve got a robust affiliate website that’s performing well, it’s good to keep an eye out for opportunities to experiment with new forms of content and new methods of distributing it. You can use traditional content such as articles and blog posts, and experiment with other forms alongside these. Video and infographics work very well for affiliate marketers, but there’s plenty of new opportunities out there. Not every experiment will work, but if you’ve got a site that’s generating good traffic, you can take some risks on experiments.
